  1. What is Saas?

    Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) gets you started quickly with an implementation of Folio Priority System (FPS) managed by Folio Technologies. It offers an affordable, flexible solution for managing your project portfolio effectively. The full, powerful feature set of FPS is available without requiring hardware costs and IT resources for software installation or maintenance. With this low-risk, subscription service, you can pilot FPS with little upfront cost and convert to an in-house implementation at any time. Organizations just approaching project portfolio management can begin increasing the value of their project portfolio now.

  2. What are your licensing terms?

    The SaaS edition of Folio Priority System (FPS) is offered on a very small monthly fee basis based on the number of users and number of projects required by your organization. The other editions of FPS can be structured as either a perpetual fee (giving you the rights to use the software for perpetuity), or on a yearly licensing basis if you prefer.   3. What is FML access?

    FML stands for Folio Modeling Language. Folio Technologies has developed its own proprietary language to optimize the customization of its software to fit your needs. In the Enterprise and Open Enterprise edition, each client is given a customization file that contains all the input, valuation, prioritization and reporting logic specific to this client following a number of workshops. FML allows Folio to very quickly implement future changes to the model, as a client needs evolve. In the Open Enterprise edition, clients willing to spend some time learning FML can take ownership of future changes themselves and by-pass Folio's consulting services entirely.

  4. What about technical support and updates?

    Folio Technologies prides itself in outstanding customer support, and releases frequent updates to the software offering new features. Technical support and upgrades are automatically included in all yearly licenses. For perpetual licenses, the first year of technical support and upgrades is included. Subsequent years of maintenance are optional and offered at a competitive industry rate.

  5. What does upgradeable mean?

    We are aware that not every organization desires to jump right ahead into an Open Enterprise edition. Folio is committed to applying 100% of any license fee paid by you over the last 12 months, and 50% of any license fee paid over the previous 12 months, against any upgraded edition. This generous scheme allows you to get started with a lower-level of financial commitment without hindering future growth options.
