Management Team
Renato Cedolin
Managing Director, Engineering
Throughout his career, Renato has been an active participant in the growth in sophistication of project portfolio management software, from desktop applications to the cloud. He has recently focused on developing and implementing online software products. He was an engineering executive at a popular, global Internet company before joining Folio. Folio is his third start-up. He holds a B.S. from Princeton, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford.
Hervé Kieffel
Managing Director, R&D
Hervé has practiced quantitative modeling and decision analysis since 1992. After serving as a government scientific advisor, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers where he spear-headed algorithmic development for complex applications. In addition to leading Folio's R&D effort, he serves as consulting professor at Stanford where he teaches mathematical modeling at the graduate level. He holds a B.S. from Ecole Polytechnique (France), and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Operations Research from Stanford.
Lee Merkhofer
Managing Director, Client Services
Lee is a well-known author and practitioner of project portfolio management. He has developed numerous project priority systems for both industry and government organizations. He has published numerous papers on the subject and has received awards for his work in the area. Before joining Folio, Lee was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he founded and led the Capital Allocation practice. He holds a B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in Engineering-Economic System from Stanford.
